Aquaman finally has a sequel in the works!
The massively successful DC Comics flick is starting to put the pieces together for new film, according to THR.
Warner Bros. has recruited Aquaman co-writer David Leslie Johnson-McGoldrick to begin penning the sequel.
James Wan and Peter Safran are also making deals to return as producers for the movie.
The news of the sequel comes almost two months after the first film’s massive $67.8 million opening weekend. The studio reportedly did not want to rush the movie’s team into making the second film.
Since the flick’s debut, the studio announced a spinoff surrounding Aquaman villain The Trench.
